Who We Are: Genuine, Inspiring, Caring

We are individuals, coming together to form one community. We do this in order to share in the joys and sorrows of each other’s lives, find a place to be ourselves and belong, to care for others and be cared for, and to be inspired each and every day! Our hope is that your journey merges with ours, and you call Fridley Covenant “home”.

Join us Sundays at 10:30 AM as we take the next step together in desiring to be more like Jesus.

A Little History

Fridley Covenant Church (originally named Community Covenant Church) had its beginning when members of Salem Covenant Church in New Brighton moved to Fridley and felt the need of a neighborhood Covenant church. On Sunday, May 15, 1955, the first Sunday school session and morning worship service were held in the old Hayes School, which is still standing on Mississippi St. in Fridley.

In 2004, Fridley became one of the first “revitalization projects” of the Northwest Conference (NWC).  The agreement was that Fridley Covenant Church, averaging 40 in attendance at the time, would receive Conference financial aid and take on the pastor of the NWC’s choosing, as well as provide coaching and support. The NWC chose our current Pastor, Mark Ellingson.
